The thyroid is a small butterfly shaped gland located just below the Adams apple. It’s hard to believe that this tiny glad has such a huge impact on our health. Depression is an often side effect when one has an unhealthy thyroid. It is hard to determine whether the depression starts with the thyroid or it was already there, but they are certain there is a link.
